When writing documents, it is often necessary to create footnotes to better explain the meaning of a word or phrase. That will make the reader fully understand the meaning of the word or phrase that the writer wants to convey. Creating annotations in Word documents is easy and fast thanks to the functionality available in Microsoft Word.

Instructions for creating comments in Word documents
Step 1: Move the mouse right after the word you want to put a caption

Step 2: Insert comments into the document in one of two ways:
Way 1: Go to the References tab, select Insert Footnote, the mouse pointer will move to the bottom of the page, where you will write the content you need to annotate as shown:

Way 2: Go to the References tab, click on the small arrow of Footnotes, the Footnote and Endnote window appears, set the parameters to create a comment and then select Insert.

– Fill in the content to create a caption
